| The specialist in archaeological
tours and gulet cruises in Turkey. In 1994, archaeologist and film-maker, Peter Sommer, walked 2,000 miles across Turkey, retracing the route of Alexander the Great, and in the process fell in love with the country, its people, and its ancient civilizations. Since 1996 he has run Peter Sommer Travels, a UK-based tour operator, taking small groups on archaeological tours in Turkey. Our trips focus on particular regions, sailing in gulets along sections of the turquoise coast, or on key characters from history, like Alexander the Great. We offer a unique range of special interest holidays, gulet trips, walking, tailor-made, cultural tours, that explore Turkey's rich and extraordinary heritage. |
