You'll visit Calgary's Heritage Park Historical Village, where you'll experience a personal guided tour of the living history of the Canadian West. See the history of the West through the eyes of historical
interpreters who provide authentic recreations of life as it unfolded for the first visitors to this untamed land.

Your adventure will include a professional rodeo and/or a Native American powwow. As well as watching bucking broncos, cattle roping, bull riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing, you will spend time in the sublime beauty of a western guest ranch (some of you may be more familiar with the term
"dude ranch") or B&B working ranch.

You may choose to take a day trip to the Rocky Mountains, including the Columbia Icefields, Lake Louise, and Banff. At the end of each day you will settle down to an ample helping of western cuisine before settling in for a great nights rest.

You'll see it all and meet individuals who will share their personal experiences of living and working in the west. You may spend time roaming the lush countryside or merely hanging out in the beautiful surroundings. Whatever your preference, it is here for you. Don't forget, you are our guest!
